People are drawn to it for the blend of innocence-coded costume and submission it offers, with ears, tails, and sometimes pet cages or feeding rituals used to deepen the headspace. It overlaps heavily with pet play but has its own aesthetic and often sits alongside age play or caregiver dynamics for those who enjoy the softer end of submission.
Worth knowing: Settle clear boundaries and a safeword before play begins, and plan aftercare since pet regression headspace can leave someone disoriented when the scene ends.
